2025 Man of the Year Honoree

Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El takes great pleasure in honoring Josh as our “Man of the Year”. Josh stepped up to become co-president of our Men’s club 2 years ago, taking the helm after a longer than normal stint from his predecessor, due to unforeseen circumstances that included the pandemic.

The word “no” is not part Josh’s vocabulary. He has volunteered at our FJMC regional event to raise money for Camp Ramah scholarships. For our synagogue activities, he was at the cleanup for a local cemetery, and at both the building and the breakdown of the Sukkah. Josh brings his children along to events, setting a great parenting example for them. When Josh plays softball on one of our Men’s Club teams, he is usually playing catch with his son in between innings.

At our Men’s Club Annual Spring signature event, Tzedakah Games, Josh served in a key role as Chair of the Athletic Committee. When fundraising lagged a bit for this year’s Tzedakah Games, Josh jumped into action and secured the commitments needed for us to achieve our goal. Josh visits Israel as often as he can and volunteers while there.

Leader, Supporter, Father, and Citizen. That’s Josh. Thank you, Josh, for all you do for our community.
