This institute is dedicated to the memory of
Hersh Muchnick z"l

Hersh was associated with the Federation of Jewish Men's Clubs for over 40 years. He served as President of Adas Israel Men's Club in Washington DC in the 1980's. In the early '90's Hersh and his wife, Charlotte, moved to Philadelphia. At Har Zion he was a driving force to rebuild the Men's Club. He served on the Middle Atlantic Region board and was named Regional Man of the Year in 2011 and recipient of the FJMC Ma'asim Tovim ("Good Deeds") Award.
